Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta will form an integral part of a planned 53-storey mixed-use development to be located at 1138 Peachtree on the emerging “Midtown Mile”. The project is designed to be amongst the tallest structures in Atlanta, featuring a soaring glass façade with panoramic views over the historic Piedmont Park and the surrounding metropolitan areas. A showcase of elegant, contemporary design, the hotel plans to feature 198 guestrooms, including 35 suites. The project has been designed to feature 71 luxury living spaces on the building’s top floors which will be branded as The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta.
The opening of Mandarin Oriental, Beijing, which was scheduled for the second half of 2009, has been postponed following a fire at the construction site in the spring of 2009. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed by CCTV, the owner and developer of the hotel. Mandarin Oriental has signed a long term contract to manage the hotel and has no ownership interest in the building. Further updates will be issued as appropriate.

Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou will be designed as an elegant, contemporary hotel, featuring 401 spacious guestrooms and suites and 70 serviced apartments. The hotel will be part of the 450,000 square metre prestigious Taikoo Hui mixed-use complex, currently under construction in the Tianhe Central Business District. Mandarin Oriental’s second property in Macau will be part of a prestigious mixed-use complex in the Nape waterfront region, with stunning views. The overall 2.6 million square foot complex will comprise a residential development, an extensive upscale retail centre, serviced apartments and the luxury Mandarin Oriental hotel. It will feature 215 spacious guestrooms, including 42 suites, innovative and stylish dining options and a 16,000 square foot spa.
Mandarin Oriental, Maldives will feature 114 spacious, stand-alone villas, including 20 water villas and four Presidential villas, all with their own private pools. This luxurious hideaway is being developed on its own exclusive island, Maavelavaru in the Noonu Atoll. An eclectic selection of Alfresco and underwater dining options will be available at seven restaurants and bars. Mandarin Oriental has reached agreement to manage a 138-room luxurious palace hotel in Paris. Located on the prestigious rue Saint Honoré, in the historic and fashionable centre of Paris, the hotel will encompass 138 spacious and luxuriously appointed rooms, an extensive choice of dining options, a signature Mandarin Oriental Spa and an expansive inner courtyard.
Mandarin Oriental, St. Kitts in the West Indies will be an extraordinary resort ideally situated on a pristine 50-acre site at Majors Bay, a private cove on the island’s secluded southeast peninsula. The luxurious 125-room resort, including 20 private Residences at Mandarin Oriental, will be an integral part of Christophe Harbour, a 2,400 acre project being developed along the coastline of both the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. Mandarin Oriental, Taipei will be a key component of a mixed-use luxury lifestyle and entertainment complex which is being developed in the heart of the city. Designed with a contemporary, elegant interior style, the 300 generously appointed guestrooms will be among the largest in Taipei and will enjoy spectacular views of the city.
