And now, this exciting and exclusive arrangement with Hackett London allows for the all-important, and dare we say it often overshadowed, groom to indulge in a little pampering of his own at Hackett’s nearby Sloane Street flagship store.

Throughout 2012, gentlemen celebrating their wedding in the iconic ballroom at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park will be entitled to a complimentary personal shopping consultation at Hackett offering advice on a befitting wedding wardrobe (accompanied by a refreshing glass of bubbly), a haircut at the barbershop to look ‘groomed’ for the big day, a shoe shine for the groom’s wedding shoes (you can always judge a man by his shoes) and a monogramming service with the groom’s initials or the date of the wedding forever inscribed when ordering either a personally tailored shirt, tie or cufflinks for the big day.

Founder of Hackett and author of “Mr Classic”, Jeremy Hackett, will be happy to dispense advice to the groom, with helpful tips on wedding etiquette and dress code do’s and don’ts for the occasion. The resulting wedding outfit will be presented to the groom together with a bottle of award winning Chapel Down and an invitation to visit the vineyard in Tenterden, Kent.

Set against the enchanting backdrop of floral Hyde Park, the Ballroom at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park presents a visual feast of rich 24-carat gilding, breathtaking chandeliers and dramatic floor to ceiling windows. In celebrating their wedding in this historic space, couples will dance in the footsteps of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with the added benefit of an outside terrace to sip champagne in the open air and a ‘Royal Entrance’ from which the bride and groom may enter with special permission from the Crown Estate.
