As Mandarin Oriental, New York’s Director of Spa, Heather Hannig oversees one of the city’s premier spa operations with a staff of 61.  The 14,500 square-foot, Five-Star Spa at Mandarin Oriental, New York reflects Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s brand-wide spa concept which blends high quality services and an “East Meets West” philosophy with exceptionally gifted therapists and carefully crafted treatments designed to inspire the mind, body and spirit. 

Hannig joined Mandarin Oriental in October 2011 bringing with her more than 10 years of spa industry expertise.  Hannig most recently held the position of Spa Director at Caudalie Vinotherapie Spa at the Plaza Hotel, the North American flagship for Caudalie’s French retail brand.  Prior to her tenure at Caudalie Vinotherapie, Hannig spent three years as Director of Spa Operations for Plus One Management which opened and operated spas for brands including Fairmont, Intercontinental, Loews, Trump and AmeriStar Casinos.  Hannig extensive experience also includes being Spa Manager for both the famous Cowshed Spa in the Soho House New York and the Trump International Hotel & Tower’s spa. Hannig began her career with Hilton as the Spa Operations Manager for Hilton New York.
