The “Need for Speed” package offers one-of- a- kind motorbike experience for travellers to Munich.
Hong Kong, 10 September 2008 -- For those motorbike enthusiasts seeking a truly out of the ordinary travel experience, Mandarin Oriental, Munich has created a package that includes a BMW biker training course, perfect for a bonding weekend for fathers and sons or a fun break for a group of friends.
Munich is the home to the world’s largest BMW Motorbike Centre, which offers 22 hectares of pure urban and cross country riding fun. The centre offers both more novice and experienced riders individually adapted levels of difficulty. All that is required to participate is a motorbike license.
Before or after your training course; visit the recently reopened BMW Museum. It has been expanded to 5,000 square metres, five times its original size, and BMW now uses it to display the company’s 90-year history. It also houses the GINA, the world’s first concept car that seems to mimic the human form. Wrapped in a silver fabric this car is seriously innovative.
The “Need for Speed” package is valid from 20 to 22 October and 31 October to 02 November 2008 and costs from EUR 653 single occupancy / EUR 971 double occupancy and includes:
• 1 night accommodation in a luxurious Mandarin deluxe room
• Breakfast at the hotel’s award-winning restaurant; Mark’s or in the privacy of your guestroom
• BMW Motorbike advance training course “on road” at Munich airport centre
• Entrance to the BMW museum
Participants will need to bring their own protective clothing (helmet, boots, gloves, motorcycles suit and kidney protection).
