HONG KONG, 1 September 2009 - The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is delighted to announce that MO Bar has been named “Best Bar” by leading luxury travel network Virtuoso in its third annual “Best of the Best Awards”. Winners were determined by editors of the network’s prestigious magazine Virtuoso Life and announced during Virtuoso’s Travel Mart Conference on 19 August in Las Vegas.
More than 800 world-class properties and recognized hotels, hospitality professionals and hotel chains were reviewed by Virtuoso Life editors in collaboration with Virtuoso’s member travel advisors. Criteria for scoring a hotel bar stipulated that it “offers a lively, convivial and entertaining social meeting spot where innovative drinks and an enticing atmosphere create a ‘must see and be seen’ buzz”.
