Travel + Leisure Readers Also Name Resort Best In Thailand, 2nd Best In Asia.

Chiang Mai, 14 January 2012 -- Starting the new year in fantastic fashion, Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai has been ranked the 15th best hotel in the world, 2nd best in Asia and best in Thailand in Travel + Leisure magazine’s The World’s Best Hotels 2012 survey.
Travel + Leisure readers were asked to rate hotels on their rooms/facilities, location, service, restaurants/food and value. They gave Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai the highest placing in Thailand with an impressive overall score of 97.

The 2012 edition of the annual survey ranks the top 500 hotels around the world, out of thousands of properties voted on. The recognition given Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai by Travel + Leisure readers also earned the luxury resort a place in the survey’s list of top 25 hotels.
