Hong Kong, 19 October 2011 – Guests booking any one bedroom suite at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London can now choose a new signature ‘home away from home’ experience, with the opportunity to host friends, family or business colleagues at an ‘At Home’ reception in the privacy of their suite.

This complimentary service is unique to Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, and includes either an ‘At Home’ Champagne & Canapé Reception or Afternoon Tea for up to four additional guests (a maximum of six people) for all one bedroom suite bookings.

Upon booking the suite guests will be asked if they wish to host an At Home reception during their visit.  If they decide to do so they will then be given formal invitation cards to send to guests in advance of their stay.

The At Home Champagne & Canapé reception includes two glasses of Champagne per person, soft drinks and an assortment of tasty canapés whilst the At Home Afternoon Tea reception includes the option of a glass of champagne with a choice of teas, freshly baked scones with lashings of Devonshire clotted cream and strawberry jam and a selection of sandwiches and pastries all freshly prepared by Head Pastry Chef Richard Stirrup. Both will be available to order directly from room service from 3.30pm.
