About the Showdown of Champions 2008
Hinging on the outcome of the upcoming Davis Cup semi-final between Spain and the USA in Madrid, either the newly crowned Wimbledon champion, Rafael Nadal or American ace James Blake will complete the star-studded cast that is scheduled to make tennis history. The event will feature one set with Borg against McEnroe and another with Federer against the fourth player. The championship will culminate in a doubles showdown involving all of the four players partnering Federer and Borg against McEnroe and the fourth player.
