Guaranteed group rates at 20% lower than best available rate and credit to master account up to 10%

Hong Kong, 24 August 2009 -- Available at twelve Mandarin Oriental properties until 31 March 2011, the Group’s new Meeting Edge package provides a flexible solution for group bookings of ten rooms or more.

Specially designed to offer Meeting Planners value and flexibility in a challenging environment, groups confirmed and operated by 31 March 2011 are eligible for this bold and simple package which guarantees a group rate lower than the best available rate by a minimum of 20% as well as a credit to the master account of up to 10%.
 
Participating hotels include Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s newest additions in Barcelona, Boston, Las Vegas and Marrakech as well as international hubs such as Geneva, London and New York.

• Offer is applicable to new group bookings from 15 July 2009 to 31 March 2011 with 10 or more guestrooms
• Subject to availability at selected Mandarin Oriental properties
• Rate guarantee is at time of booking
• Includes all buying channels (with commission paid up to maximum of 10% per event)
• *Percentage of credit is determined as follows:
o 5% credit if total master account spend is less than or equal to USD 44,999
o 7% credit if total master account spend is between USD45,000 to USD 79,999
o 10% credit if master account spend is greater than or equal to USD 80,000
