Enjoying a picturesque riverside setting, our brand new Italian restaurant serves classic Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist. Under the patronage of Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok’s legendary Chef Norbert Kostner and the experienced eye of Chef Luca Casini, Ciao will offer guests the chance to sample spuntino - Italian style tapas - or choose from an extensive a la carte menu of Italian classics and imaginative dishes.
Lying on the banks of the Chao Phraya river, Ciao’s al fresco setting helps create a relaxed, yet sophisticated, ambience. To one side of the restaurant lies Ciao’s chic cocktail bar, serving a selection of fine Italian wines and cocktails, spuntino, and one of the greatest selection of sparkling and wine-based cocktails in South-East Asia.
For an extra special experience, we have an exclusive Chef’s Counter with seating for up to eight guests. Here diners can enjoy an eight-course tasting menu accompanied by wines chosen by our award winning sommelier.
