Imaginative French cuisine and opulent surroundings

One of the best-loved French restaurants in Asia, Le Normandie offers a delicious fine dining menu and an exceptional wine cellar. Situated in the Garden Wing of the hotel, the restaurant frequently entertains the highest echelons of Thai high society from celebrities and politicians to members of the Royal Family.

Offering stunning views over the river through floor-to-ceiling windows, the restaurant enjoys an elegant feel with large chandeliers, round tables and stunning flower arrangements. Diners are offered the choice of a set or à la carte menu specialising in exemplary seafood and exquisite meat dishes.

Ladies are kindly asked to wear elegant attire and footwear. Gentlemen are kindly asked to wear smart shirt, long trousers and closed shoes. A jacket is compulsory for men during dinner (can be provided upon request). Children above the age of 12 are welcome to join. The dress code also applies to children.

Modern French flavours

Creatively presented with delicious seasonal tastes and flavours, Le Normandie specialises in modern French cuisine. Using only the freshest ingredients, many from the Royal Projects in the north of Thailand, highlights include Marbled Moulard foie gras with prune and toasted brioche, and Chateaubriand of beef from the Salers region with traditional garnish and truffle sauce.

Open for lunch and dinner, we offer guests the choice of an a la carte menu or an exquisite set menu. To complement your meal, our sommelier can advise on a wide range of wines from our comprehensive cellar.

Arnaud Dunand Sauthier

Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is delighted to welcome Chef Arnaud Dunand Sauthier to Le Normandie.

Chef Arnaud has over a decade of experience in fine dining, having worked with renowned culinary talents worldwide, including Georges Blanc in Vonnas, Marc Veyrat in L’Auberge de L’Eridan, and Emile Jung at Crocodile.

He also spent three years at Maison Lameloise in Bourgogne before venturing to Le Crillon in Paris under the leadership of Jean-Francois Piège.

At only 26 years of age, Chef Arnaud became the Executive Chef at Château de la Tour du Puits in Chambery. Now 30, Chef Arnaud is delighted to share his culinary passion with Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, where he will take Le Normandie guests to new heights of fine dining excellence.
