From our opulent ballroom to our intimate boardrooms, we offer a range of rooms for every occasion.

The Ballroom

This is a grand and versatile space with high ceilings, extravagant chandeliers and intricate murals depicting life on the river. The ballroom is available as a single, large space or can divided into smaller rooms for more intimate functions. An adjacent foyer makes an excellent pre-event reception space.

Meeting Rooms

We have three beautifully appointed meeting rooms. The Embassy room enjoys the same opulent style as the ballroom, yet on a smaller scale. Designed as a living room with sofas, the Regency rooms can be re-arranged for cocktail events or private dinners. Situated within the business centre, our Executive Boardroom enjoys an abundance of daylight, with windows overlooking the main entrance.

Authors’ Lounge

Renovated to its former colonial glory with whitewashed rattan furniture and towering bamboo and palm trees, the Authors’ Lounge is the perfect place for a romantic wedding reception or cocktail party. An adjoining room is available for executive interviews or for event management.

Riverside Venue

Across the river from the hotel we offer an exclusive event location, which includes a lawn for receptions, a free standing pavilion and the Sala Rim Naam restaurant, which can be reserved in its entirety. With the spa and cookery school also on this side of the river the location lends itself to incentive and team events.
