Yoga – the union of mind, body and breath ...

Yoga, the ancient wisdom for a healthier, happier and more peaceful way of living, offers a multi-path approach to uniting body, breath and mind in awareness, ultimately leading to a blissful state of higher consciousness.

Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok offers an extensive range of Yoga programmes, from lively group sessions to one-on-one private classes, tailored to meet your specific needs. In each session, participants practice a series of gentle and vigorous asanas that promote the well-being of the body, while emphasis is placed on techniques for nurturing the mind and spirit.

Our Yoga sessions are designed and conducted by resident Yogic lifestyle trainer, Neelam Khatri, who trained with India’s The Art of Living foundation, renowned for promoting stress relief and a peaceful and joyous way of living based on special breathing techniques and the practice of The Sudarsham Kriya. Neelam has extensive experience teaching yoga and conducting workshops, retreats and programmes for individuals, groups, and children. She has been actively associated with many projects of The Art of Living foundation, including teaching Yoga at the highly acclaimed The Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur, India.

Her sessions offer the wisdom and techniques of yoga in a detailed yet joyful way, and consist of Asanas (postures), Pranayamas (breathing exercises), Dhyana (meditation) and Yoga Nidra (yogic relaxation), which together help to relieve stress and promote health.
