Personal Training by Appointment

The key to any successful workout is to maximize effectiveness and few options can help in that regard like a session with a personal trainer. Our trainers are certified fitness experts on-hand to ensure that you are working safely and effectively. Personal trainers can be booked through The Oriental Health Centre.

Yoga

Practicing Yoga is the ideal way to achieve healthier and more peaceful living. In Sanskrit yoga means “Union”, the union of the mind, body and breath into awareness through various techniques, encompassing Asanas(Posture) for the healthy  body, Pranayama (breathing exercises) for steady breath, Dhyana (mediation)  for stress – free mind, Yoga Nidra (yogic relaxation) for the deepest rest, eventually leading us into a blissful state of being. 

At Mandarin Oriental. Bangkok, we delighted to offer an extensive range of Yoga programmes, from lively group sessions to one-on-one private classes , tailored to meet your specific needs.

Our Yoga sessions are designed and conducted by resident Yogic Lifestyle Trainer Neelam Khatri. Neelam has extensive teaching Yoga and conducting worshops, retreats and Programmes for individuals, groups and children. She has been actively associated with many projects of The Art of Living Foundation, including teaching Yoga at the highly acclaimed The Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur, India.

Complimentary Sessions

The Oriental Health Centre offers free fitness classes to its guests and members. You can choose between , intro step, Pilates, tai chi, leg and thigh, and abs sessions. The schedule changes monthly; be sure to check with the Health Centre for an up-to-date roster.

Fitness Centre

Our state-of-the-art Fitness Centre has everything you need for a total body workout, with aerobic machines, weight training facilities, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. We also provide lockers, T-shirts, shorts and amenities at no charge.
Opening Hours: Daily from 6am-10pm

Helpful Information

  • Please wear loose, comfortable clothing to classes
  • We recommend not eating 1 ½ to 2 hours prior to classes
  • Remember to turn off all pagers and cell phones
  • Classes last for one hour
  • Class schedules are subject to change
  • Participants have access to our sauna, steam room and whirlpool facilities
  • Guests with physical or health complications should seek medical advice before beginning any aerobic, sports or fitness activity
