Moments, the Michelin-starred restaurant at the heart of Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, showcases the vision of celebrated chefs Raül Balam and Carme Ruscalleda. Offering a bold and elegant interpretation of Catalan cuisine, it focuses on fresh, seasonal and health-conscious gastronomy to deliver one of the city’s most refined fine dining experiences.


The space, designed by Patricia Urquiola, welcomes guests in warm golden tones and serene elegance, while an open window to the kitchen offers a glimpse into the creative energy and precision behind each dish.


Dietary Requirements: Please inform us of any specific dietary needs at least 24 hours before your reservation. Our culinary team will do their utmost to accommodate your requests and adapt your menu accordingly to ensure that you can fully enjoy your dining experience at Moments. We can adapt our tasting menu to vegetarians and vegans. If you inform us of possible dietary restrictions less than 24 hours in advance, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fully adapt the menu to these restrictions.


Dress Code: Kindly be informed that Moments observes a casual elegant dress code. Please refrain from wearing baseball caps, sleeveless tops, casual sandals, and flip-flops in the restaurant.


Child Policy: We kindly inform you that, to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all our guests, Moments welcomes children from the age of 5 and above. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hosting you soon.

Moments introduces a new non-alcoholic pairing — a refined journey through the seasons crafted from infusions, roots, flowers and fresh ingredients. Conceived by Lucia Zaccari, it captures nature’s rhythm, from floral spring to earthy winter, offering a pure and precise tasting experience. Created in collaboration with local producers in southern Catalonia, it’s a thoughtful alternative for those who seek depth of flavour without alcohol.

Moments is helmed by Raül Balam, whose bold creativity and technical precision define the restaurant’s culinary identity. Working closely with his mother, the renowned Carme Ruscalleda as gastronomic adviser, the duo brings a shared vision rooted in Catalan tradition and reimagined with contemporary flair.
