ACTIVITIES ON OFFER INCLUDE:
JUNIOR PADI DIVE CERTIFICATION
Young underwater enthusiasts will be able to discover what lies beneath the ocean waves with our Junior Padi Dive Certification program. Run through our on-property Dive Shop, Blue Water Divers, children will be able to become certified through interactive classes, pool dive lessons and open-ocean dives to shipwrecks and coral reefs. The Dive Shop can also arrange snorkel tours, ocean kayaking and paddle board lessons.
SAILING LESSONS
For those who prefer to stay above the waves, we offer sailing lessons in conjunction with the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club. Group clinics and private lessons are available for children and families, allowing everyone to get out and enjoy Bermuda’s beautiful waters.
MARINE BIOLOGY
Offered in conjunction with the Bermuda Museum, Aquarium and Zoo, our marine biology learning programs allow children to discover more about the island. Activities include feeding seals at the touching pool, whale-watching trips and full moon boat rides during which children will have the chance to see Bermuda’s famous glow worms.
HISTORY TOURS
Bermuda may be a small island, but it’s bursting with history. We can arrange trips to the National Museum of Bermuda and private tours with the museum’s Executive Director, Dr. Edward Harris. In addition, we can arrange tours of St. George’s, a World Heritage Site.
GEOCACHING
Created with the Bermuda Department of Conservation Services, Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunting game where participants use a GPS enabled device to hide and seek 'geocaches' or 'caches' containing a logbook. This is a great outdoor activity for families, and provides ideal motivation for exploring the island of Bermuda.
ARTS & CRAFTS
The Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art has a variety of art and design classes for children of all ages, including a “Tots Create” class for young children and their parents. Children are encouraged to practice their photography skills during their stay at Elbow Beach and the Camp is always happy to display the children’s work in the Reef Clubhouse.
SEASONAL ACTIVITIES
We also offer a range of themed activities throughout the year, such as traditional Bermuda kite making, Easter egg coloring and an Easter egg hunt.
The Adventure Camp is priced per child per day based on what activities are selected, and includes roundtrip transportation and a boxed lunch for off-property activities. Parents are welcome to join in with activities and are included in the price.
