Actually boys and girls love all of this island paradise and especially Elbow Beach where we go out of our way to entertain our younger fans. With the children occupied at The Camp at Elbow Beach, the parents can discover the tropical pleasure of lying on that pink sand.

The Camp at Elbow Beach

From June 1 to September 3 The Camp at Elbow Beach is open, offering a range of activities for children. Our facility is fully staffed by energetic and caring counselors, who organise daily activities. It is also well equipped with computer terminals, TVs, DVD Blu Ray players, Sony PlayStation 3, Wii and board games.

Organised diversions include golf putting, arts and crafts, and a hide and seek quest. Twice daily adventure activities are also available for Kids of all ages to participate in on a complimentary basis.

Camp Fees: USD 55 per child per day

Meals: Lunch can be added for USD 20 per child per day. Snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day.

Age Group: The Camp at Elbow Beach’s scheduled activities are for children aged 5 to 12 only. The Camp at Elbow Beach can accommodate a maximum of 22 children at any given time. The club operates on a first come first serve basis.

Camp Hours: The Camp at Elbow Beach is open from 9am to 4pm daily. A detailed daily schedule of events is available above.

Registration: All children must be signed in and out either by a parent or guardian. Registration will take place at the The Camp clubhouse adjacent to the pool terrace.

We are very happy to arrange babysitting, but please give us 24 hours notice to avoid disappointment. Speak to our concierge for this service.

Gibbs Hill Lighthouse

This lighthouse was constructed in 1844 following a decade which saw 39 ships wrecked on the 16 miles of reef that stretch out from the coast. Situated on a 245 foot hill and reaching 117 feet high, visitors climb 185 steps to see the machinery that saves lives today.

Crystal Caves

Fabulous crystal stalactites and stalagmites formations from 30 million years ago viewed in an underground cave with a pool of water so clear you can see the bottom 55 feet below.

Horseback Riding

Ride into the sunrise along the South Shore beaches and scenic trails through sand dunes. Experienced guides will accompany you and organise rides for all levels of ability at sunrise or sunset. USD 65.00 for the 1-1/4 hour ride.

Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo

With such a wealth of aquatic life on the miles of Bermuda reefs it is hardly surprising that visitors want to take a closer look. The Aquarium and Zoo house over 200 species of fish and more than 300 birds, reptiles and mammals.

Fort St. Catherine

Located at St George’s this fort is a 19th century structure built on the site of a 17th century wooden fort. It houses a collection of antique weapons; displays 18 ton cannons and curiously, replicas of the British Crown Jewels.

Royal Naval Dockyard

Incorporating two of Bermuda’s leading entertainment venues; the Bermudan Maritime museum and Dolphin Quest. The museum holds a comprehensive history of British naval activity, naval weaponry and the slave trade.
