In Boston, the seasons live up to their dictionary definitions. Spring, from March to May, offers plenty of sunshine and occasional rain showers. Summer, from June to August is sunny and hot with temperatures ranging from 60°F/ 15°C to 80°F/26°C. Autumn, when the trees put on a magnificent color-changing display, is everyone’s favorite season in Boston. Temperatures from September to November are mild and can range from 40°F /4°C to 70°F /21°C. Winters are crisp and often snowy, with temperatures ranging from 28°F/-2°C to 34° F/1°C.
