Executive Chef Nicholas Boutin - a star on the rise. Directing the culinary experience for our food operations Chef Boutin’s classical training and international experience translates to imaginative and innovative cuisine.

Boutin comes to Boston from the Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, which debut in July 2005. Previously, Boutin worked in several great restaurants from around the world, including three-star Michelin restaurants Troisgros & Lameloise. Chef Nicolas’ journey brought him to great culinary destinations in France such as Rhone valley, Loire Valley, Toulouse and Burgundy. He also had opportunity to learn from one of the masters, famed Chef Michel Portos in Bordeaux.

At Asana, Boutin incorporates fresh, seasonal New England ingredients that are locally harvested to create perfected American and deliciously authentic Asian dishes. For Boutin, the goal is not to fuse these two great cuisines, but to perfect each one.
