Set amongst the exotic blonde wood paneling and cozy fireplace, Mandarin Oriental, Boston introduces a Champagne Afternoon Tea pop-up in the comfort of the hotel’s Lobby Lounge. Created in partnership with Champagne Taittinger, the world’s most prestigious Champagne, and Dammann Frères Tea, the renowned Parisian tea maker dating from 1692, this classic three-tiered afternoon tea experience is luxurious yet comfortable, making it the ideal social gathering place in Boston.
Beginning with a glass of Champagne Taittinger Brut La Française, this interactive aromatic experience commences with a presentation of six natural loose leaf tea blends. While each preferred individual tea blend steeps, guests are able to enjoy an assortment of traditional finger sandwiches, accompanied by freshly baked English-style scones and classic French pastries by Pastry Chef Robert Differ.
For those dining with children, Chef Differ has created a special kids experience that includes a rich milk chocolate hot cocoa served with a homemade marshmallow and creamy chocolate curls.
In addition to afternoon tea service, the Lobby Lounge will also feature Champagne Taittinger Brut La Française and Prestige Rosé, available by the glass and by the bottle. A selection of hand-crafted Champagne cocktails will also be available.
Mandarin Oriental, Boston’s Champagne Afternoon Tea pop-up will be available for USD 65 for adults and USD 35 for children. The Lobby Lounge is open to entertain 25 seated guests or a reception for up to 50. Reservations for groups of six or more people are available.
