Oriental Ballroom

Our magnificent ballroom is panelled throughout with blonde satinwood, elegant marble trim and opulent buttery hued silks. It holds 600 guests for cocktails, 310 for dinner and dancing and up to 380 delegates seated for a conference. Our ballroom is built with unique technical features, including pin spotting and intelligent lighting technology. It also offers the option of being divided in half. Adjacent to the ballroom lies the Oriental Gallery which acts as a large pre-function space for the ballroom.

Lotus Suite

Connected to the Oriental Ballroom is the Lotus Suite, a private room that acts as a "green room" for event planners, bridal parties or VIP guests. The suite can also be used as a boardroom for up to 12 people.

Meeting Rooms

We have three additional function rooms, each with views over Boylston Street. Bangkok is our largest with room for 150 guests standing and 100 seated. Beijing has capacity for 80 guests standing and 50 seated. Our executive boardroom, Hong Kong, can seat 24. All three meeting rooms offers advanced Telecom and Video conferencing technology for real time global meetings.

The Garden

We offer Boston's only outdoor space in a Five-Star and Five-Diamond hotel. It is available for breakout, lunch or evening events and receptions in conjunction with Ballroom events. With a level and ample grassy area that can accommodate tenting, ceremonial arches and outdoor seating, it is surrounded by Boston’s cityscape and is a rare oasis in the center of town.
