The Learning Framework

Mandarin Oriental’s Integrated Learning Framework is a range of programmes that meet the current and future development needs of our global workforce at different levels.

Management Development Programme

For middle/frontline managers. This programme helps to address many of the skills required of managers and supervisors of others e.g. giving feedback, delegating, preparing reports and budgets, etc.

MBA programme

For senior staff. The MBA is offered in three stages - Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and MBA. Participants have to go through a range of subjects in addition to a research project that relates to specific areas of Mandarin Oriental.

Legendary Quality Experiences (LQEs)

Our Legendary Quality Experiences have been established to guide us in achieving our mission to delight and satisfy our guests. Designed to take into account the cultural diversity of the locations in which we operate, they define the core experiences in guest/colleague interactions and represent the style and attention to detail that we bring to our hospitality and service.

The Experiences are divided into two parts – those that apply to specific departments, and those that apply to every colleague in every transaction, which we call ‘Mandarin Oriental Pillars’.

We regularly review the LQE’s to ensure they are relevant in order to get better and keep us the best.
