As northern Thailand modernises traditions die out; by conducting regular ceremonies and rituals we are keeping alive the Lanna culture. We offer an array of activities designed to give insight into that beautiful and unique culture, as well as to offer hands-on participation in rites and rituals.

Please see below for details of our informative cultural tour through our resort, our monthly ceremonies and regular artistic performances.

Monthly Ceremonies

We recognise the significance of ceremonies, which keep alive people's faith and beliefs. Each month we perform or sponsor an important ceremony. In January you may witness the act of devotion, the dressing of The Tun Jai Buddha image. In March, we sponsor the Poy Louk Kaew ordination ceremony for novice monks. In April you may witness the Songkran Festival, after the elderly provide their blessing the 'sanuk' begins and everyone blesses each other with splashes of water.
