By Foot

With just a few minutes walk, the Old Town can be reached, which is home to many of the city’s historical and cultural landmarks including St Peter’s Cathedral, The Grand Theatre and the Flower Clock. Several bridges connect the left bank with the right and the best shopping areas are also just a few minutes away on foot. Our Concierge will be happy to provide a map on request.

By Taxi

Although not the most cost-effective method of transport, taxis are available from areas marked by yellow signs or road markings. Hailing a taxi is not uncommon, but it is better to find one of the 60+ taxi ranks or phone ahead from Taxi Phone.

By Tram

Geneva offers a very reliable tram service that runs throughout the city. Tickets can be purchased from kiosks at most stops and prices are based on a zonal system. Multi-day passes are also available. The Swiss Pass can be used on the public transportation networks of 37 cities in Switzerland and on many of the scenic railway journeys available. It can be purchased in 4, 8, 15, 22 day or one-month blocks with various other cards able to be adapted to your own schedule.

By Boat

There are a number of boat tours and excursions for both Lake Geneva and the River Rhône. There are three different ferry services to transport guests around the lake area at a cost of CHF 3.00 per trip. Paquis to Eaux Vive Paquis to Pont du Mont Blanc Genève Plage to Perl du Lac to Paquis

By Bus

There are three central bus stations in Geneva, with two of these located within a 3-minute walk of the hotel. The bus infrastructure is expansive and has won a number of awards for cleanliness and efficiency. As with the tram system, tickets can be purchased at kiosks at most stops and there are daily or weekly passes available.
