The Lifestyle Institute at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva

Mandarin Oriental, Geneva introduces “The Lifestyle Institute” - flexible choice of weekend programs which perfectly marry topics of interest with leisure activities.

At Mandarin Oriental we appreciate how difficult it can be to commit oneself to leisure time. If work doesn’t take precedent, then there seems so much to do and learn in life that the hardest challenge is to dedicate time to oneself.

The Lifestyle Institute takes a holistic view of our guests’ wellbeing and is dedicated to improving life by combining intellectual stimulation with physical relaxation. We do this by offering tailored weekend programs which are divided into specific interest areas such as Wealth Management, Arts, Food & Wine, Self Improvement, Wellness and Travel & Leisure. The result will be an enlightening weekend on subjects that guests would probably never find time to examine at home within a relaxing and luxurious environment. Our attentive staff will ensure you are entirely free to enjoy the experience.

The range of expertise that guests may engage with is wide and fascinating, from watch-making to auctioneering, cuisine to yoga. Guests will be able to take a rare glimpse at the machinery that drives the world’s most powerful water jet, consult a specialist in Sino business arrangements, attend a lecture on ancient fine art, discover how to decorate their 19th century town house with authenticity, improve their Bridge game or learn about time-pieces as an investment they wear. Our weekends are much more than a luxurious retreat; guests will return home refreshed, relaxed and above all enriched.

Beginning in September 2008, The Lifestyle Institute offers three exhilarating separate weekend events that will inspire and challenge the minds and senses of its attendees. Each experience will provide activities and in depth insight into contemporary subjects of interest.
