Overseen by talented Executive Pastry Chef, Yves Matthey, who has been at the hotel for over twenty years, The Mandarin Cake Shop is supplier of handmade chocolates, cakes and breads to all of Hong Kong. This is the city’s ‘must visit’ for sweet indulgences. The Shop’s famous rose-petal jam and XO sauce are always in high demand and are regularly shipped around the world to overseas guests who can’t live without them. 

Displayed in specially made glass cases, the eye-catching cakes are exquisite sculptures `created by the renowned Cake Artist Bob Tay.  His incredible themed cakes both fascinate and amaze, often appearing so real that viewers need to look twice before discovering they’re looking at a work of art made entirely of cake and icing.
