The year 1963 was a very special one for the hotel as it was when it first opened its doors and it was also the year that produced one of the finest port harvests of the last century. To celebrate the hotel’s 50th Anniversary, Taylor’s has introduced an exclusive, limited edition 1963 Single Harvest Tawny Port for guests to enjoy or purchase. The Chinnery will be offering guests a special Port flight, including that from 1963, whilst stocks last.

EXPERIENCE THE 1960S IN THE KRUG ROOM
Executive Chef Uwe Opocensky will offer exciting adaptations of 1960s’ dishes with a 21st century twist in the exclusive Krug Room. Guests can expect the unexpected with amazing and sense-stimulating creations such as “Fruit Loops 2013,” Julia Childs-inspired “Beef Bourguignon”, “Baked Alaska” and “Ich bin ein Berliner”. This special menu will be available until October 2013 and afterwards on request.

THE CHINNERY TO OFFER GUESTS AN EXCLUSIVE 1963 GODET COGNAC
As part of the hotel’s celebrations, The Chinnery will offer guests a special 1963 Cognac Godet that displays a true sensory fullness having aged for 42 years in oak barrels. To launch this partnership, guests will also be able to enjoy an exclusive four-course Cognac Dinner, hosted by Mr Maxime Godet, where dishes by Executive Chef Uwe will be paired with special cognacs on 24 September.
