TAYLOR’S INTRODUCES AN EXCLUSIVE, LIMITED EDITION 1963 SINGLE HARVEST TAWNY PORT AT THE CHINNERY
The year 1963 was a very special one for the hotel as it was when it first opened its doors and it was also the year that produced one of the finest port harvests of the last century. To celebrate the hotel’s 50th Anniversary, Taylor’s will introduce an exclusive, limited edition 1963 Single Harvest Tawny Port for guests to enjoy. The Chinnery will be offering guests a special Port flight from 8 April, along with an exclusive port dinner on 11 April, when outstanding British dishes will be paired with the finest wines and ports, including that from 1963.

EXPERIENCE THE 1960S IN THE KRUG ROOM
During 2013, Executive Chef Uwe Opocensky will offer exciting adaptations of 1960s’ dishes with a 21st century twist in the exclusive Krug Room. Guests can expect the unexpected with amazing and sense-stimulating creations such as “Fruit Loops 2013,” Julia Childs-inspired “Beef Bourguignon”, “Baked Alaska” and “Ich bin ein Berliner”.

DISCOVER OUR PAST WITH AFTERNOON TEA IN THE CLIPPER LOUNGE
Offering a glimpse into our illustrious history, the Clipper Lounge will become home to an exhibition of classic photographs of the hotel allowing guests to look back and recall the 1960s and 70s. Adding to the experience, our talented pastry team has incorporated these photographs into the afternoon tea cakes and guests enjoying the tea will also receive a set of postcards to take-home.
