Luxury Lounger Beach Massage
Elbow Beach Bermuda’s private stretch of pink sand beach is the perfect setting for blissful relaxation and soaking up the sun. To help guests unwind further, Elbow Beach is delighted to once again be offering Luxury Lounger Beach Massages to enhance the summer beachfront experience.
From May 1 to September 30, beach-going guests will never have to leave the comfort of their lounge chairs as the Luxury Lounger Beach Massage comes right to them. For this indulgent outdoor massage experience, guests have the choice of an Ayurvedic Head Massage or a Revitalizing Foot Massage. The Ayurvedic Head massage is a luxurious blend of Ayurvedic herbal oils with Pink Scalp Mud that nurtures the scalp and conditions sun-damaged hair, easing stress and calming the mind. The Revitalizing Foot Massage envelopes the feet in a cold refreshing towel with essential oils followed by a relaxing foot massage with the application of Aloe Vera gel and a fresh compress that leaves feet fresh, soft and revitalized.
The cost for each 20 minute beachfront massage treatment is USD 60, excluding tax and gratuity. The Luxury Lounger Beach Massage will be available from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 5:30pm, depending on the weather. Guests can book the treatments with therapists that will be available on the beach.
Cooking Classes at Elbow Beach
Those who love to cook or who just want to learn some of the tricks of the trade from Bermuda’s top chefs will be delighted with Elbow Beach’s fourth series of cooking classes. Classes begin Saturday, April 5, 2008 and will run from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. The cost is USD 160 per person and classes are limited to 9 participants per class.
Those participants booking multiple cooking classes will receive a 20% discount on the classes they book.

Elbow Beach Puts Safety and Security First
Elbow Beach, Bermuda is putting safety first as part of its commitment to guests and colleagues. In 2007 the property made major investments in safety and security including CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) upgrades which doubled coverage across the resort to 36 cameras with a state-of-the-art digital command centre, a new electronic patrol monitoring system and increased officer coverage to a brigade of 20 in addition to pre-existing entry and egress point alarm systems and emergency alarms in high visibility areas. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has exacting standards in all areas of fire, life, health, safety and security which are reviewed in a week-long audit every year. This policy has ensured continual improvement in all aspects of health and safety over the years and brings new best practice initiatives to Elbow Beach annually. As Elbow Beach continually seeks to be an active participant in island wide safety and throughout the company the specialist knowledge of the Safety and Security team is not limited within the resort, but is also shared with external parties both locally and overseas.
Elbow Beach introduces Chef de Cuisine Tomasz Tabor
Elbow Beach is excited to introduce its new Chef de Cuisine Tomasz Tabor at the Seahorse Grill restaurant.
Born in Warsaw Poland, Tomasz has strong European roots and appreciation for classic French culinary methodology. Tomasz comes to Elbow Beach most recently from the AAA Five Diamond restaurant, The French Room in Dallas, Texas where he held the title of Sous Chef and specialized in contemporary French and American cuisine.
The award winning Seahorse Grill has long been known for bringing seasonal originality to its menu and the addition of Chef Tomasz brings a vibrant spirit that will continue this tradition. He is known for his total focus on quality and endeavors to pay homage to the classics while adding a modern finesse to his dishes.

Need to stay connected while on vacation? Elbow Beach makes it easy, with property-wide high-speed wireless Internet access. As of December 1, 2007 Elbow Beach will be the fastest hotel property on the island, with a sustained data rate of 3 megabytes per second, which can be provisioned within a moment's notice to 10 megabytes per second, making life a breeze for those who need to stay connected. These processing speeds guarantee fast Internet usage for all services including file downloads, streaming webcasts, podcasts and email. And with wireless Internet access spreading across 50 acres from the main building to our pristine pink sand beach, guests can lounge on the beach and still enjoy watching their favorite shows on television network websites. Charges for internet access are based on one, three and seven day periods, and cost USD 19.95, USD 49.95 and USD 109.95 respectively.
Bermudian Art Series at Seahorse Grill
The Bermuda Arts Center has partnered with Elbow Beach to present the “Taste of Art” series, which combines award-winning culinary creations of Seahorse Grill’s chefs with artwork by several local artists including Lynn Morell, Angela Gentleman, Christopher Marson and Rhona Emmerson. The “Taste of Art” series will be updated quarterly with new pieces, many of which will be available for purchase.
