The ultra-luxurious, ninth floor Presidential Suite is the pinnacle of style in every sense. It has four main rooms as well as two balconies, a kitchenette, and a truly spectacular bathroom. There’s even a grand piano.
The choice of heads of state, star entertainers and high-flying lobbyists, the three bedroom Presidential Suite is the very height of luxury. The panoramic views from its floor to ceiling windows and twin balconies stretch from Georgetown to Old Town, taking in vistas of The National Cathedral, Lincoln Memorial, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington Cemetery and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, among other historic landmarks.
Guests enter the suite through a marble vestibule with cloakroom and powder room, which also features an exquisite exhibit of three Chinese compasses. This leads into a double height, 24 foot living room with a double layer of square and round windows. Unique touches include a grand piano, chess table and even a telescope for perfect enjoyment of the view. From here there is a walk-through study with leather walls and a well appointed desk, inviting settees and a 60 inch flat screen TV. You’ll also find a well stocked kitchen, a dining room that seats eight, and of course the master bedroom with a four poster, a walk-in closet and exercise area with treadmill.
But the piece de resistance is the master bathroom, which features a TV above the windowed, infinity-edge SOK tub that fills from a ceiling height nozzle. There is a separate spa shower with two rain effect shower heads as well as handheld nozzles and body jets. Elsewhere there is dressing room, a second mini-suite – consisting of a Twin bedroom with anteroom, separate bathroom and marina views. There is also an optional third bedroom if required.
