Lanna Kids Club and Programmes

We offer a highly stimulating kids club where we encourage our young fans to become young explorers, discovering Thai culture through entertaining activities and five day programmes.

Around town

The Chiang Mai countryside is a natural playground for children. Just as much as adults they will enjoy the elephants, waterfalls, flora and fauna.

  • Elephant Camps
There are only 3,000 to 4,000 elephants remaining in Thailand. Visiting a camp you can enjoy these majestic creatures and the skill of their mahouts. It is also possible to take a trek and elephant ride to a hill tribe.
  • Doi Inthanon National Park
This beautiful national park is named after Doi Inthanon, which is the highest mountain in Thailand and the source of many rivers. The park is renowned for its flora and fauna and the famous 8 tiered Mae Ya waterfall most magnificent May through to November.
  • Rafting
Children over 12 years old, (who must be able to swim) enjoy the rafting and also kayaking on the Mae Taeng river. From July to March water tumbles off the mountainside creating a natural playground. Day trips or overnight stays can be arranged with several hours of rafting include nighttime runs.
  • Chiang Mai Zoo
This is a very attractive zoo, set on a hillside amidst lush greenery, with numerous open enclosures. It is quite a walk between animals so this could make an all day visit. The star attraction is currently a pair of pandas loaned from China.
