2-star Michelin Chef Thierry Marx
Thierry Marx, chef at Château Cordeillan-Bages in Pauillac near Bordeaux, is one of France’s most renown chefs. Named Chef of the Year in 2006 by the prestigious Gault Millau restaurant guide, Marx gained his first Michelin star at the tender age of 26. Now 44, he has achieved two Michelin stars at Château Cordeillan-Bages and is tipped to gain even higher accolades in the future.

Dating back to 1718 with the Marquis de Ségur, Chateau Latour has been established as one of the world’s finest red wines for almost 400 years. On 26 May, there will be a unique gala dinner featuring the cuisine of Thierry Marx paired with Chateau Latour, attended by Frédéric Engerer, President of Chateau Latour.
The night will start with Dom Perignon 2000. Nine wines directly from the Chateau cellars will be served including some of the best of the last 30 years, les Forts de Latour 2000, 2003, 2005 and Latour 1982, 1990, 1996, 2000, 2002, 2003.

As part of the French May, MO Bar is featuring French Bistro cuisine – you can look forward to classic dishes such as Quiche Lorraine and Bœuf Bourguignon. We will also be celebrating with a large selection of matured French cheeses, perfectly complemented with hand-picked wines from quality French boutique vineyards. Set lunch from HKD 208, sticky fingers menu items from HKD 70.

Afternoon Tea and Basque Melodies
27-29 May at 4pm and 5pm
MO Bar will be hosting a traditional all men’s choir from the Basque country in the south of France. The repertoire for Basque men's choirs is vast, with most of the harmonisations dating from the end of the 19th century – some melodies can even be traced back to the medieval period. Try something unique this spring – traditional afternoon tea with soothing melodies from the Basque men’s choir.
