Perfect weather and beautiful beaches mean that most of Sanya’s sporting life centres around the water. But such conditions also mean that the island is ideal for tennis, biking, golf and many more outdoor activities.


At the hotel

Tennis
We have two outdoor courts available for our guests to enjoy. Bookings can be made through our fitness club.

  Court Fees: 100/hour daytime, RMB 150/hr at night (floodlit)

Swimming

Adjacent to our pristine private beach, guests will find a cluster of beautifully landscaped pools, each providing a different water experience. For fitness enthusiasts, our heated Lap Pool provides year-round exercise. Children can enjoy the action and splash around our main Recreation Pool, which features 3 fun slides and a landscaped beach. This pool is ideal for activities such as water volleyball, water soccer, and other pool games. It also features a sunken bar. Last but not least, the Noodle Bar Pool provides a vibrant yet sophisticated atmosphere to relax and enjoy the beautiful sea views.
The swimming pools are open daily from 6am to 10pm.

Jogging

A 1.5-kilometre path that winds its way around our resort was designed with joggers in mind. Guests can join a morning run led by our fitness team or set off on their own. Long-distance runners can follow our mapped routes to enjoy a scenic workout.

Outdoor Activities

Water Sports

With 1.2km of private shoreline and a cove teeming with marine life and a beautiful coral reef, our resort is the ideal spot from which to start your water adventures. Hop onto a water taxi and head to a floating pontoon –one dedicated to sunbathing, the other to snorkeling, diving, wind surfing and other sporting fun. You can also browse through our list of things to see and do to find out other water-based activities around Sanya, including options at Yalong Bay and the Dadong Sea.

Mountain Biking

Take it easy and glide around Sanya City (5mins) and beyond to Sanya Bay (45mins) or challenge yourself to a tough trek through the hills. You can rent mountain bikes and safety helmets at the hotel; equipment is available for both Adults (RMB 60/hour) and Children (RMB 45/hour). Sightseeing maps and routes are provided for those setting off on their own, while group cycling tours are also organised at the resort.

Boating

To get a new perspective on Sanya’s charms, head for the South China Sea. It’s easy to hire a boat for the day to explore the beautiful islands around Yalong Bay. You can rent our Hotel Boat exclusively for a fun family island cruise or for a romantic evening sail. Alternately, local speedboats can be hired for RMB 800 per day along the public beach in the Dadong Sea area. Don’t forget your sun block.

Fishing

Looking for the best spots for deep-sea fishing? Hire a private boat complete with knowledgeable captain and you’ll be well on your way to sporting heaven. After spending half or full day at sea, our culinary team will prepare your catch any way you like it.

Private Charters are available locally at USD 250 for 2 hours
Group/Tour fishing costs USD 65 for 2 hours

Rifle Range Shooting

Anyone with an interest in Olympic sports knows that China leads the way when it comes to target shooting. Take aim with the best in the world at the International Olympic Shooting and Entertainment Centre in Sanya City. Opening hours 9am to 6:30pm. Price RMB 10 per bullet, including coach.
