Climate

Jakarta is located close to the equator, making it hot and humid year round. The year is divided into two seasons – rainy and dry. During the rainy season, which falls between late October and early May, short heavy showers occur, but it rarely rains all day. The dry season lasts from July to September. Throughout the year temperatures are consistent, ranging from a minimum of 24°C (75°F) to 34°C (93°F).
