Classic Cantonese cuisine and a beautifully elegant setting

Specialising in classic Cantonese delicacies and dim sum specialities, Lai Po Heen is inspired by the great ancestral homes of 19th Century Chinese tycoons. The decor is simply stunning with high ceilings, ornate chandeliers and beautiful parquet flooring.

Guests can watch as our illustrious chefs showcase their skills in an open kitchen, effortlessly preparing signature delights such as black pepper beef tenderloin and handmade dim sum.

Decorated in rich white and gold tones, and adorned with ornate chandeliers and Oriental artwork, our seven private dining rooms offer an exclusive ambience for private gatherings.

Using the finest ingredients and even importing some from China, Chef Ricky said he and his team try to localise the flavours while making them as traditional as possible. The mooncakes also presented in a distinctively made two–tier gift box with Oriental motifs, making exclusive gifts to friends, family and business partners.

Lai Po Heen is among the region’s finest Chinese restaurants and certainly KL’s busiest. A favorite with businessmen who swamp lunch whilst families hijack the elegantly renovated restaurant by evening.
