There’s little chance you’ll need to borrow an umbrella when you visit Las Vegas, which boasts an average of 300 days of sunshine each year. Amazingly, however, the city is not nearly as hot as people imagine, with the highest temperatures – around 100F -reached in July and August. That being said, visitors are advised to drink plenty of water – this is a desert town after all and it’s very dry. Also, bring a light jacket or sweater for evenings, which are often quite cool.
