Convenient and inexpensive, public buses, known as the CAT system, are often a sound choice for traveling from one Las Vegas attraction to another. Visitors will find routes 301 and 302 most convenient, as they run from The Strip to the south of Fremont Street. Exact fare of USD 2 is required.

Taxis can be reserved in advance but are usually available at the Front Door. Our doormen are there to assist with all your special needs: luggage, credit card payments, passenger groups, SUV or locating destinations. Throughout town taxis are easily hailed at marked taxi stands. Flag fall is USD 3.30; the average one-way fare to Las Vegas Blvd destinations is USD 12.
Tourists often opt for the convenient monorail, which travels on the east side of The Strip from the Las Vegas Hilton to the MGM Grand with stops at the Sahara Hotel, the Las Vegas Convention Center, Harrah’s/Imperial Palace, Flamingo and Bally’s/Paris. The monorail runs from 7am to 2am on weekdays and until 3am on weeknights. Single ride fare is USD 5, day passes are USD 13 and three day passes are USD 28.
Taxis are readily available at the airports. During busy arrival times, the lines may be long. Standard prices can be seen in the From and To McCarran Airport in the Fare box to the right.
McCarran Airport’s car rental facility affords plenty of choice and easy access for those wishing to rent an automobile. Multiple companies have rental counters and all share the same shuttle bus service from the terminal. Drivers should be prepared for heavy traffic on The Strip. Drivers must possess a valid driving license with photograph and be at least 25 years of age to rent a vehicle in Nevada. Valet parking is available for guests of the hotel and the amenities for a fee of USD 20 when parking overnight.
