Tips on Tipping

In Las Vegas, tipping is necessary and expected. Waiting staff in particular should always be tipped, usually 18% to 21% of the total bill, depending on level of service. For taxi drivers, 15% to 20% is normal, otherwise round up to the next dollar amount. Dealers should be tipped your average bet once or twice an hour; a dollar or two is appropriate for cocktail waitresses, bellhops, doormen and other service providers.
