From Heathrow Airport to Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London

  • Starting at Heathrow Airport, Terminal Four, turn to your left when departing the airport
  • At the Terminal Four Roundabout, take the second exit (signposted Central London)
  • Immediately from here turn left onto Sheffield Road (signposted Central London)
  • Further down the road turn left onto the Great South West Road. You are now on the A30
  • When you reach Henley’s Roundabout take the third exit onto Bath Road (signposted Central London). You are now on the A4
  • Turn left back onto Great South West Road
  • When you reach a junction with Boston Manor Road (A3002), continue forward and take the second exit on the next roundabout you come to, leading you onto the Great West Road (signposted Central London)
  • Once on this road, remain in the left hand lane, ascending the ramp and merging onto the M4 (signposted M4 Central London, Hammersmith)
  • Continue along the M4, crossing over the Chiswick Flyover
  • At the end of the M4 continue forward onto the A4
  • When you reach Hogarth Roundabout, take the second exit onto Great West Road (signposted Central London, Hammersmith)
  • Continue on this road and remain in the right hand lane over the Hammersmith Flyover and onto Talgarth Road. This is Kensington
  • Continue forward onto West Cromwell Road and you will go past The Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum
  • Continue forward onto Brompton Road, remaining on the A4
  • After a short distance you should pass by Harrods, and only a little after that, the Knightsbridge Tube station on a corner
  • Continue straight ahead and Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park should be visible on your left
  • The hotel has no parking facilities on site, but can arrange valet parking or there is a public NCP car park is in the vicinity
  • The journey should take around 45 minutes.

From Gatwick Airport to Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London

  • Start at Gatwick, West Sussex
  • At roundabout take the fourth exit onto Airport Way – A23 (signposted M23)
  • At Junction 9a roundabout take the first exit, then join the M23 Spur Motorway (signposted London, Brighton)
  • At roundabout take the first exit, then join the M23 motorway (signposted London)
  • Leave the M23 at junction 8, then join the M25 motorway (signposted Heathrow)
  • Leave the M25 at junction 9 (signposted Leatherhead, Dorking) then at roundabout take the third exit onto the A243 (signposted London, Kingston
  • At roundabout take the third exit onto Kingston Road – A243 (signposted Kingston, Chessington)
  • Continue forward onto Leatherhead Road – A243. Entering Chessington
  • At roundabout take the second exit onto Hook Road- A243 (signposted Kingston)
  • At Hook Junction Roundabout take the third exit, then merge onto Kingston By Pass – A3 (signposted Central London)
  • Continue forward through Tolworth Underpass – A3
  • Continue forward at Malden Junction through underpass
  • At Robin Hood Vale roundabout take the second exit onto Kingston Vale – A3
  • At Tibbets Corner Junction branch left, then at Tibbets Corner roundabout take the first exit onto Tibbets ride – A219 (signposted Hammersmith, Fulham, Putney)
  • Continue forward onto Putney Hill –A219 entering Putney
  • At traffic signals continue forward onto Putney High Street- A219 (signposted Hammersmith, Fulham)
  • Continue forward onto Putney Bridge Approach – A219 entering Fulham
  • At roundabout take the second exit onto Fulham Road – A304
  • At Fulham Broadway continue forward (signposted South Kensington, Earls Court)
  • At Fulham Broadway underground bear left onto Fulham Road
  • Continue forward
  • At Brompton Oratory turn right at traffic signals onto Brompton road – A4
  • Continue until you see Knightsbridge underground, the hotel is opposite
