MO is Mandarin Oriental’s lifestyle magazine for our guests and regular readers.
Each edition offers the opportunity for our readers to win a delightful stay at one of our exclusive hotels by answering questions about a city in which Mandarin Oriental operates.
Discovered by Spanish explorer Juan de Bermúdez in 1503, this archipelago of 138 islands covers an area of 53 sqkms. A tiny British dependency, the main island is famous for its spectacular pink-tinged sandy beaches and for having more golf courses per square mile than anywhere else in the world.
Here billboards, neon signs, fast-food restaurants and hire cars are all banned. The only source of fresh water on these islands is rain, and the typical candy-coloured dwellings all feature gleaming white roofs that are designed to collect rainfall.
For your chance to win, answer these questions:
Q1. Where in the world am I?
Q2. What sport would you come here to play?
Q3. How is the rainwater collected?
Prize
Three nights accommodation in a Premier Ocean View room at Elbow Beach, Bermuda including return airport transfers.
The winner of the previous MO competition is Mr. Simon Rothwell from the United Kingdom.
