Whatever the time of year, temperatures rarely drop below 26 degrees C and Manila is famed for its hot and humid weather. A popular time to visit is between November and March when temperatures are relatively cool and rain stays away.

Climate

The climate of the Philippines is tropical and characterised by high temperatures, high humidity and, during May to October, rainfall. Typhoons happen mostly during August and September in the most northern regions. From November to April the northeast monsoon winds bring warmer weather and strong winds, which make the Philippines perfect for water sports.
