Hong Kong, 11 April 2012 – Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Alain Negueloua as General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Boston, with immediate effect.
Mr Negueloua is a veteran hotelier with over 25 years of luxury hospitality experience. He rejoins Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group after six years as General Manager at Meadowood Resort in Napa Valley, California. Prior to this, during his nine year career with Mandarin Oriental, Mr. Negueloua held a variety of senior management positions, including Resident Manager and General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco, and General Manager of The Mark, New York. Before joining Mandarin Oriental, Alain gained over 13 years of managerial experience with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.

As General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Boston, Mr Negueloua succeeds Susanne Hatje, who has relocated to Mandarin Oriental’s corporate office in San Francisco to take up her new role as Group Director of Residences.
Mr. Negueloua studied human resources management at San Francisco State University, and holds an Associate of Arts degree in Hotel Restaurant Management from City College of San Francisco.
