Mandarin Oriental, Miami’s M-Bar Shakes Up Cocktail Menu, Location And Weekly Entertainment

Miami, October 8, 2012 – M-Bar, the swanky lounge located in the towering atrium lobby of Mandarin Oriental, Miami, is turning a new leaf this fall with a fresh list of cocktails, chic new space and weekly live music line-up playing a sultry mix of live jazz, samba, bossa nova and afrobeat rhythms on Friday and Saturday evenings. The innovative all-natural concoctions feature fresh fruits and herbs hand-muddled to order and served late into the evening alongside savory dim sum and sushi selections. The new “signature cocktails” line is also a treat for the eyes, as the drinks are chilled with Japanese Moldings of fruit juice ice complementing each recipe.

Highlights of the cocktail menu include the Lychee Pear Tea (USD 18) made with Grey Goose La Poire, Zen Tea liqueur, St. Germain, fresh lemon and lime juice; the Tropical Island (USD 18) made with Mount Gay, Elderflower liqueur, pineapple, basil and soda; and the E-Money (USD 18) made with Ketel One, Chambord, strawberry liqueur, lime and cranberry juice, fresh sour mix and sparkling wine.

Exuding opulence and sophistication, M-Bar’s new space spans the lobby and features distinctive design including plush silk sofas and oversized chairs framed by floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the Miami skyline and breathtaking Biscayne Bay. Partial outdoor seating overlooking Biscayne Bay is also available.

M-Bar is open Monday through Thursday and Sunday from 5 p.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Live music is offered Friday and Saturday evenings from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. For more information, call +1 (305) 913 8288.  Valet parking; all major credit cards accepted.
