Hong Kong, 11 January 2013 – Created with opera aficionados in mind, Mandarin Oriental, Munich’s popular “Dining with the stars” event will this year offer the opportunity to enjoy a very exclusive operatic experience, including three exceptional concerts in just three days.
Taking place from 23 to 26 February 2013, “Dining with the stars” provides guests the chance to enjoy “Boris Godunow”, “I Capuleti e i Montecchi” and a special Gala concert celebrating 200 years of Giuseppe Verdi “Messa da Requiem” at the Munich Opera House. Each concert will be followed by an intimate dinner at Mandarin Oriental, Munich with the stars of the production, including internationally renowned maestros Zubin Mehta and Kent Nagano as well as celebrated operatic performers Krassimira Stoyanova, Ekaterina Gubanova, Joyce DiDonato, Ekaterina Siurina, and Joseph Calleja.
Priced at EUR 1937,05 per person, the Dining with the Stars” package includes three nights’ accommodation and breakfast at Mandarin Oriental, Munich, return limousine transfers to the Munich Opera House tickets for the three concerts two meetings with the Chief Dramatic Advisor of the Opera, cocktails at the Mandarin Bar and two gala evenings with the stars at Michelin-starred Restaurant Mark’s. Included is also a guided tour of Munich’s leading museum, the Neue Pinakothek,
