Mandarin Oriental, Paris Celebrates Fashion With A Glamorous Gala Party

HONG KONG, 26 September 2012 – On 24 September, Mandarin Oriental, Paris celebrated fashion and its stars of tomorrow with a glamorous and elegant gala attended by more than 150 celebrities, dignitaries and society guests.

During the chic party entitled J’aime la MOde, guests were treated to a delightful presentation of the new collection ‘Pop In Toile De Jouy’ by the Parisian Fashion school Mode’ESTAH in the garden and Bar 8. The menu was designed by the hotel’s two-Michelin- starred Chef Thierry Marx, while music was provided by renowned French sound designer Ariel Wizman.

“We are delighted to collaborate with the talented students from Mode’ ESTAH. Their collection - festive, glamorous and chic - perfectly embodies the spirit of Mandarin Oriental, Paris. I hope the J’aime la MOde party will become an annual rendez-vous around fashion and creation” said Philippe Leboeuf, General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Paris.

Located on rue Saint-Honoré, one of the most fashionable streets in the world, surrounded by haute couture and only a few steps away from the city’s famous attractions, the red carpet event drew a stellar crowd. Celebrities included: the actors of the new French comedy les Seigneurs (Omar Sy, Gad Elmaleh, Franck Dubosc, Joey Starr, José Garcia, Ramzy Bédia), Anouchka Delon, Frédéric Diefenthal and his wife Gwendoline Hamon, Vincent Perez and his wife Karine Silla, fashion designer Chantal Thomass, Sidney Tolédano, General Manager of Christian Dior Couture, Thierry Oriez, General Manager of Christofle, Ernesto Mauri, General Manager of publishing house Mondadori…etc.
