Hong Kong, 12 December 2012 – On 30 November 2012, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore marked 25 delightful years with an elegant celebratory party by the outdoor pool, set against unrivalled views of the renowned city skyline.
Suitably designed to portray what the hotel stands for today, the party was attended by dignitaries, distinguished business partners, esteemed hotel guests, members of the media as well as dedicated colleagues who have been with the family for over twenty five years.
Guests were invited on a gastronomic journey through the years with a specially crafted menu featuring refined delicacies of the 1980’s, sensory dining of the 1990’s, creative culinary transformation in the 2000’s, and innovative specialties in the current decade.
During the party, guests were also treated to soulful Jazz performances by Cynthia Utterbach and her band, the distribution of a commemorative fan-shaped cake made of a collection of homemade cupcakes, premium champagne and wine which were enjoyed at the luxurious poolside cabanas, topped with award-winning services whilst taking in the sights of the Lion City.
