Classes in Cuisine: 2008 Cooking Class Series

Star Chef Clay Conley, who recently appeared on the Today Show – the #1 morning show in the US, presides over cooking classes conducted in the magnificent marble-clad open kitchen of Azul.

In each class, Chef Conley will share his cooking tips and prepare the ultimate gourmet lunch along with student chefs. A sumptuous three-course tasting menu is matched with flights of premium wines. Both an entertaining and learning experience, guests with a passion for food will create epicurean delights, discover new flavor techniques and learn the skills to craft and present beautiful plates.

These classes provide a rare opportunity to master the signature dishes that have made Azul one of the hottest restaurants in the nation.

Schedule

Classes are held from 9:30am to 1pm on the following Saturdays:

February 9, 2008: "Organic Cooking" - Including a trip to Paradise Farms in Homestead, Florida

March 8, 2008: "Indian Cooking" - Indian-inspired cuisine

April 5, 2008: "30-Minute Meals" - Specialties from the Azul culinary team

May 24, 2008: "New England Style Clambake" - Special Guest Stephen Garza from White Water Clams

September 6, 2008: "Clay and Friends" - Talented Miami chefs join Chef Conley for a Culinary Affair

November 15, 2008: "Festive Ways to Prepare for the Holidays"

Student chefs will receive recipe cards and cooking notes for easy step-by-step reference. Upon completion of the class, all graduates will receive a certificate of participation and a signature Azul apron.
