Groups may experience South Florida's delicate ecological system with an exhilarating airboat ride through nature's wildlife! See alligators, crocodiles and other exotic wildlife in their natural habitat. A professional tour guide will narrate the thrilling airboat ride as you glide through this jungle of wilderness: the legendary Everglades National Park. At Alligator Island, more than 100 alligators are on their own “Island Resort” basking in the sun or swimming. Your group can then stroll around the winding Jungle Trail where exotic birds, reptiles and flora are all around, and continue onto the elevated Observation Platform where you will experience breathtaking views overlooking the Park and the Everglades. In addition, visit a replica Cheekee Village and other Exhibits along the way. Duration: Travel time is approximately 45 minutes each way, and the airboat ride and tour are approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
Golf is extremely popular and naturally there are options to play in South Florida, however Mandarin Oriental, Miami can offer single and group golf offerings at three of the top public courses in Miami: Crandon Golf Course on Key Biscayne, Miami Beach Golf Club and Doral Golf Resort. From arranging instructional golf clinics with master golf professionals to organizing a tournament for your group, our Destination Manager can assist in planning the ultimate golf excursion.
Brickell Tennis Club is only minutes away from the hotel, and with our preferred partnership, guests have the opportunity to play at one of the top tennis clubs in the country. Corporate packages can be arranged including a two-hour round robin tournament or a one hour drill lesson taught by a world-class tennis professional, both of which offer prizes, towels, balls and refreshments. For single players, our concierge will be happy to book a court, clinic or private lesson.
The Miami Seaquarium Marine Mammal Training Staff has an exciting two hour program that offers an insightful glance at dolphin behavior up close. Participants will uncover interesting facts about these extraordinary animals, and then the 12 participants will be split into groups, slip into their wetsuits and accompany the trainers to Flipper Lagoon for one-on-one interaction with the dolphins. Interaction will include: feeding, touching, training sessions and "rides" with the dolphins across the lagoon.
The attraction of the open sea has made many land lovers seasoned sailors. We offer first time sailors, as well as experienced yachtsman, a day to remember. Sit back and relax as one of our experienced captains shows the way. If winching up the main or setting the spinnaker is what your group enjoys, the crystal clear turquoise waters of Biscayne Bay are the perfect backdrop for this sailing experience. Comfort and luxury are the perfect complement to your group’s enjoyment. Sailing yachts range in length from 40' upwards, and of course, all safety and navigational equipment is provided, as is a USCG (United States Costs Guard) licensed captain.
The Crandon Park Marina, just ten miles from Mandarin Oriental, Miami and near spectacular fishing and artificial reefs, is part of internationally recognized Crandon Park. Your group may experience professionally chartered Fish Outings, guaranteed to produce gigantic fish "stories." The boats can accommodate a maximum of 6 passengers each for a half-day of fishing from 8am – noon or 1pm – 5pm. The crew will have the finest fishing gear available, so all you need to worry about is catching the trophy fish. Your group can relax and sip a cool drink in the cockpit of a sport fishing yacht until their trophy fish is ripping line off the reel! Cost is $1089 per boat for a half day charter, including captain, first mate, gratuities and service fees. We can also assist you in arranging transportation for your group with departures from the hotel lobby.
Enjoy some time relaxing on the water on a fabulous catamaran with one of these two options. Enjoy a scenic three-hour tour: This trip includes a tour of Miami and Biscayne Bay. The sailing is wonderful and the scenery is breathtaking. If your group chooses, you can stop and kayak, or lay around in a water hammock. The Half-Day Sailing Adventure (4 hours) includes all the features of the three-hour tour with an extended cruise of Key Biscayne and a trip out to the open ocean with a great view of Miami. Snorkeling equipment can be included with the half-day trip for an additional charge.
Participants will depart from a nearby marina and enjoy a two hour ride into beautiful Biscayne Bay. On the tour, guests will pass by homes of the rich and famous on Star Island, Hibiscus Island and Fisher Island and see abundant wildlife. A stop at Monument Island for a swim is a major highlight. These excursions can be personalized for each group, and we are happy to adjust the schedule to accommodate the group’s request. The possibilities are fun and endless!
Enjoy a beautiful day out on Biscayne Bay aboard one of many vessels to accommodate your group size. The tour will pass by Fisher Island, one of the most exclusive residential enclaves in the United States, whose past and present residents have included Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruise, Sophia Loren and Ivana Trump. Groups will also see the beautiful homes of the “rich and famous” on Star Island where Gloria Estefan and Julio Iglesias are residents. Hibiscus & Palm Island will also be viewed, which were once home to Al Capone, Hugh Hefner and Don Johnson. During the 1980’s, most of the filming for the television series Miami Vice was completed around these areas. Pricing is subject to the number of guests, length of tour and food and beverage options, as well as dockage. It is based on a two-hour minimum and subject to availability. Transportation can be added for an additional fee.
The trip duration for all Eco Adventure Tours is 3.5 hours including a half-hour introduction. Length of the trip and times are subject to change depending on the season and availability. Minimum and maximum number of people will also vary depending on the season and timeframe.

A blend of history and natural beauty awaits you on this exciting adventure. This trip is rated easy to moderate and involves approximately three miles of easy paddling with an expert guide.
Kayak along the Key Biscayne shoreline exploring the abundant marine life that inhabits the sea grass beds and mangrove forests of this unique subtropical ecosystem. Then don your snorkeling gear for an up close and personal underwater experience in these biologically rich waters. On this naturalist-guided trip you will travel around the sand flats in the Bear Cut Marine Preserve. This is an excellent trip for beginners or people of all skill levels.
The history of Key Biscayne is filled with classic stories of South Florida. Our 12-mile bike tour will visit these and other sites of historic interest as well as several areas that showcase the island’s unique natural beauty. Spend three hours with one of the experienced tour guides, biking through Crandon Park Beach and Bear Cut Marine Preserve. The trip is rated moderate and is perfect for ages 12 and up.
Guests will be greeted in the hotel lobby for this informative and exciting tour then guided through the Art Deco District, which encompasses part of South Beach. Local historians and architects will provide a look into Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival and the Miami Beach Architectural District. Reminiscent of Spain, Italy, France, and Morocco, these buildings feature decorative columns, arched windows, clay barrel tile roofs as well as modern interpretation, including architecture emulating planes, trains and automobiles using materials such as aluminum, chrome, neon lighting and glass block. Guests will have a detailed view of the intriguing time when the architectural style was that of streamlined structures with geometric shapes. Duration: Travel time is approximately 30 minutes each way, and the tour lasts 90 minutes. Additional time can be added to allow guests to explore the area at their leisure.
