Recently opened in its new Columbus Circle home in September 2008, the Museum of Arts and Design features an exceptional collection of objects that demonstrate current and historic innovation in art, craft and design.

Take a trip to the top of the Empire State Building located at 5th Avenue between 33rd and 34th Streets. The observation deck on the 86th floor is open daily. Go early to avoid the crowds.

Located at 5th Avenue and 82nd Street for an extremely comprehensive collection of art and artifacts. Through May to October enjoy drinks on the roof surrounded by 20th century sculptures.

The Guggenheim Museum located at 5th Avenue and 89th Street was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and the building itself is an impressive sight. It houses contemporary art and avant-garde exhibits.

The Frick Collection at 70th Street and 5th Avenue is housed in a beautiful mansion built for industrialist Henry Clay Frick in 1913. It includes many wonderful furnishings and paintings by the Old Masters.

The Museum of Modern Art has reopened after a two and a half year renovation. It holds one of the most comprehensive collections of twentieth-century art in the world.

The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Ferries are located at Battery Park. Take the ferry over to the Statue of Liberty for a fabulous water view. See Ellis Island where 17 million immigrants entered between 1862 to 1954.

The United Nations at First Ave and 46th Street has multilingual tours daily to the General Assembly, although you can visit the foyer and basement without a tour. Please contact our Concierge for tour times and reservations.

The New Museum is one of the nation’s leading showcases for the art of our time and New York City’s only museum devoted exclusively to contemporary art. The New Museum is located at 235 Bowery between Stanton and Rivington Streets.

5th Avenue is the place to see all the latest styles. Shop at Bergdorf Goodman, Cartier, Tiffany, or Saks 5th Avenue. Step into St Patrick’s Cathedral or wander through Rockefeller Center to take a break from shopping.

Another high class street, from 57th to 79th it is a parade of brand names from YSL, Versace, Armani and Donna Karan plus Barneys New York department store.

Spend the day strolling through SoHo, a district occupied by artists who preserved its elegant wrought iron architecture and initiated the fashion for loft living. Browse through the numerous trend setting boutiques and incredible art in its many galleries.

Jeffrey, the chic neat department store, has led the fashion stream into this otherwise industrial area. Posh Jeffrey caters to the Barney’s crowd in a more intimate style.

Ago, Chef Agostino Sciandri’s first restaurant in Manhattan, serves rustic-style Italian food in an elegantly casual space with exposed brick walls and hand-finished wood paneling.

There are over 150 beaches on Long Island, both bay side and facing the Atlantic. It is warm enough to swim in from July to September and the more accessible beaches can be very crowded in the summer. The beaches feature sand dunes, trails, miles of boardwalk, and some are supervised. In the summer many of New York’s biggest outdoor concerts are staged on Jones Beach.

The Crystal Springs Golf Club is recognized as one of the finest golf facilities in the northeast United States. When Crystal Springs opened in 1992, it was rated among the top 25 new golf courses in America by Golf Digest. It is also considered the most challenging layout in New Jersey.
