Around Town

By Foot

Prague city centre is extremely manageable by foot. It should take no more than 30 minutes to walk from Prague Castle in the North West diagonally across the city to Wenceslas Square. Walking around through cobbled streets is the easiest way to get around.

By Taxi

Taxis are available in the street but visitors should ascertain fares before getting into the vehicle, some drivers do not go by the metre. Be particularly cautious around major tourist sites where you are more likely to encounter less scrupulous drivers. Our concierge will order taxis for you as required.

By Our Limousine Services

We offer a Mercedes Benz – S Class extended version for private sightseeing tours of the city or for trips further afield perhaps to Cesky Krumlov.

By Boat

From spring to autumn you can take a boat cruise on the Vltava between the 10 bridges. Boats leave from the port near New Town, the journey is two hours each way. Prices start from CZK 350 ( EUR 12) for 2 hours, up to CZK 1350 ( EUR – 47.3.4) for 4 hours.

By Tram

Trams run through the city centre. There are two tram stops both just 1 minute from the hotel. You can take a tram from here, either over the river toward The Old Town Square or toward Malostranske Namesti (Little Quarter Square) & The Charles Bridge.

Funicular Railway to Petrin

The funicular runs 318 metres up to the top of Petrin hill from where you can climb the observatory for a panoramic view of the city. The stop is in Malá Strana. It runs daily from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (11:20 p.m. from November to March) at 10-15 minute intervals.
