Walking the streets of Prague is one of the great pleasures for any visitor to relish. Happily, the weather is likely to cooperate. Prague enjoys a fairly mild climate, with warm, damp summers and cool winters. While the average temperature in summer is 24º C (74º F), the mercury is likely to rise to 30º C (92º F) on the warmest days. Expect plenty of sunshine in spring and summer, with rain most likely between May and August. Snow is rare during the winter, but cold temperatures are not. The average winter temperature hovers around freezing during the day and falls to -4º C (26º F) at night.
